EYE
CARE
Eye Exam:
Retinal photography-photo documentation of the inside of your eyes
Screening for eye diseases like glaucoma and cataracts
Advanced diagnostic testing when indicated, for neurological,
retinal disease, glaucoma and other eye diseases
Keratometry (measurement of the cornea or window of your eye)
Refraction (determines your glasses prescription)
Depth perception testing
Dry eye and eye allergy evaluation
Dilation (use of drops to open your pupil to detect internal eye
diseases) when indicated
Use of highly technical computerized instruments to validate
all tests
Most of the above procedures will be performed at your first eye
health evaluation. Your doctor will determine, based on your individual
needs, what procedures will be necessary on subsequent visits.
Contact lens Evaluations are not included in the eye health examination.
Distinctly separate tests are required for a contact lens evaluation
and additional professional and material fees will be charged.
Please let us know if you are interested in, or wear contact lenses.
Prescription Validation
Your glasses prescription is valid for 2 years. It can be released to
you, another doctor, or a qualified optician.
Contact lens prescriptions are valid for one year. |
